Acceptance

By using Spark Read, you agree to these terms.

Service Description

Spark Read is a speed reading application that uses Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) to display documents word-by-word at configurable speeds. The app supports PDF, EPUB, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, and URL content.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all documents you import
We do not claim any rights to your content
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import and read the content you upload

Account

Account creation is optional — the app works fully without an account
Accounts enable cloud sync and cross-device access
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

Subscriptions & Purchases

Spark Read offers free, Pro (monthly subscription), and Lifetime (one-time purchase) tiers
In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to their respective terms
Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their policies

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service to distribute malware or harmful content
Attempt to access other users' data
Reverse engineer or attack the service infrastructure
Use automated tools to abuse the service

URL Fetching

The app can fetch and parse web content from URLs you provide
We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of parsed content
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access the URLs you import
We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites

Limitation of Liability

Spark Read is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, inaccurate content parsing, or service interruptions.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, but you may retain any locally stored data.
